What happened?

I have the same problem.
I can ping the device, but it can not be managed.
Restart the device and fix it until one is blocked again

Hello

Can you solve this problem?

Send problem description (with supout.rif and short description of setup, e.g. used monitoring tools and monitored oids) to support@mikrotik.com.

If possible, enable debug logging for snmp (create separate logging topic for snmp), wait for error and then create supout.

I still have the same problem with RB1100aHx4.

I have updated to the latest version 6.43.4

I already have the case open to support Mikrotik, but I’m waiting for the failure to appear on a computer where I have capturing the packets on COM port.

But Murphy’s law has been fulfilled and in which I want it to fail it has not failed yet.

If someone has a similar case that can help find the source of the problem, I would greatly appreciate your contribution

it was single issue.
reboot only.

I hade today the same problem with the RB1100AHx4. ROS 6.43.7.

Are there any new information

it’s happened again for me

It sounds like a memory leak for me.

@ Rrock which version are you using?

I’m on 6.43 and no problems with my rb1100ahx4.

Regards.

Hello. We have same problem. The router did not give access to management, but available by icmp requests. When we tried to connect via telnet router respond:
Escape character is ‘^]’.

MikroTik v6.43.1 (stable)

ROS 6.43.4

Another RB1100AHx4 rebooted tonight. This is not power issue - device is installed on site with two different power inputs, two UPS and ATS. Both power supplies on router are connected. Any other devices on site haven’t problems like this. Router said to log
feb/11 05:14:14 system, error, critical router was rebooted without proper shutdownbut nothing any unusual messages before and after. We are using ROS 6.43.4 on this device, but this issue was happened on any another software versions we tried.

This routers are very critical for our network infrastructure. I need comments from Mikrotik team what we need to do.

I always get comment from their support. After crash, there is autosupout.rif file… all you need to do is send it to them and describe your situation. They will likely find the issue and either tell you whats wrong or maybe fix it in future update.
This forum is not official support. It is more for users to share knowledge and help each other. If router crash, it is system error which cant be solved by anoyne else than official mikrotik support.

fyi: http://forum.mikrotik.com/t/rb4011-and-rb1100-ahx4-bricks-randomly/130638/1 describes the same issue.
