system profiler and "unclassified" taking all CPU

Hi,

Is there a way for me, the average Joe, to find out which package/process the system profiler “unclassified” refers to? This could be helpful tracing root causes for issues when the “unclassified” keeps using almost 100% of the CPU..

Send MikroTik a supout.rif … also you may want to upgrade.

Perhaps you have the System → RouterBoard window, which shows the BIOS version, open in Winbox?

Thanks! What stuff goes into supout.rif? I might not be super happy to dump all my data to an external without knowing what exactly goes in there.

100% CPU issue in my case seems to be a result of going to the latest ROS and firmware versions..

Most of the config and some run time stuff. You can actually view it. Just make an account on mikrotik.com and there is a viewer.

…and putting the supout.rif file to the viewer means giving the unknown data to other company… (

Thanks a lot! I’ll consider this viewer.

Btw.. a new day a new thing showed up. Last night when fiddling around with my setup I ended up removing one device from the 751U, my Samsung TV. Now for ~24h no permanent 100% CPU or reboots. However, after generating some traffic I got now “flash” process shown in “/tools profile” that eats 100% CPU every few seconds and of course all the time generating more write to my flash in a high pace. This is getting interesting :sunglasses:
