system reset-configuracion doesn't reset user-manager

Hi there.

I’ve just found this “error”.

When I done a /system reset-configuracion on a 3.30 system [and also 3.24] i notice that user-manager settings doesn’t be resetted to default values.

Is this a bug?

Can someone else confirm it?

Nice Regards,

RG.

Anyone can confirm this?

Thank you very much for the report. Yes, you are true configuration is not reseted.
Currently you can do it by removing store and uninstalling User Manager package.
We will see what we can do with reset command.

Hi there.

Another thing about the bug.

If you fresh install the system and do a backup then use user-manager feature, when you restore the backup the user-manager still have old configuration.

Best Regards,

RG.

Currently you need to remove store for User Manager, if you want to reset the configuration of User Manager.

reinstalling package will not reset the UM cfg you will have to format & reinstall whole OS

Do you have deleted user-manager store? For me this completly delete UM config.

Yes, we are aware of such problem, that /store should be deleted first.
We are looking for the way how to implement the fix.

What I also noticed is that the store eventually gets full and RB stops responding i.t.o. UM/hotspot as ‘disk or database is full’ (similar) messages appear.
While you look at the reset-configuration problem, is it also possible to maybe add feature to remove history of users/sessions older than x days?
Just to be able to do maintenance on highly used RB411 (in this case) with little storage space? Every few months, I have to format/netinstall the RB to ensure clean disk with max space. (didn’t know about the /store before, I’ll try it next time)
