[System Upgrade] How to select the correct package

Hi there,

I’m using a single RB750GL as a repository for upgrade all routers on my network. All routers are (Groove, RB7xx and RB4xx). Many files have the same name: routeros-mipsbe-5.19.npk.

 # SOURCE NAME VERSION STATUS COMPLETED
 0 10.110.120.81 routeros-mipsbe 5.19 available

If I upload all files on RB750GL, how can I select the right one on the router I want to update?

They all use the same file. Just put on there once.

The file name contains the CPU architecture. If you go to system resources it will tell you what kind of CPU is used for that series, and then you can jut upload the file that you want to upgrade to.

If RB4xxx and RB7xx file names are equal, one upgrade file is suitabile for both of them?

Yes, the groove, 700, and 400 series uses mipsbe file.
Load that file on your 750GL and use it to upgrade the others.

Thanks
