right now i have a netopia r5300(?) router in front of mikrotik, this router i got off ebay, and it seems to crash once every 6 months, and mikrotik about every 4 or 5. i would like to eliminate one source of crashing(and allow me to not have to waste my ips subnetting) and eliminate the router. how can i plug my t1 directly into my mikrotik box.

also i am wondering what everyone elses uptimes seem to be for mikrotik, i am try to figure if it is the hardware i am using or the software(2.8.26)?

SBE T1 cards work.

Take a look at the Ref. Manual. under interfaces / Sync. there are others.

I only know about the SBE for sure as I have been working on bonding several of them into one trunk.

do you have specs sheet i could see.

i assume they are full 1544(aka 1536)
are they a csu/dsu as well, i dont need any other equip do i?
what is the model number i wanted to look it up and see what i can find on it.

Used cards are the same but are Std 1/2 PCI cards. (older)

how long are you planning on having these cards, right now i dont quite need them, and need the money for my t1 bill. u gonna have them in a month or so?

Used, that is another story, I am checking on supply now…

I know I need another four to go to Germany (cmit)… :slight_smile: Still working on the paperwork.. it has more weight than the cards…
