One of my customer is using a Mikrotik 9 core router connected to a satellite modem on fast ethernet. The satellite modem has built in feature of HTTP acceleration and TCP acceleration. When we enable TCP acceleration in the modem, the connection drops and the users are unable to browse. The estimated number of simultaneous TCP connections are around 2K. Is there any specific configuration that has to be enabled in the Mikrotik to support this feature. The modem also can process 2300 TCP connections simultaneously. Due to TCP acceleration disables, the customer is not able to use the full 40 Mbps of capacity.
When the customer tries connecting workstations directly to our modem, it does work smoothly.
