TDM over IP (Wireless) help

we are tryig to carry E1 signal from TDM over IP device to a remoe area 3km away but we are not getting any throughput for E1, whereas in wireless circuit we are getting well over 6Mb, on futhe analysis we saw that on transmission of data the Rxor Tx always go below 2Mb(which is E1 ofcourse) and we loose E1 sync.

Can anyone suggest a way by which we can make Tx:Rx = 1:1 and with minimum 2mb on both Tx and Rx???

I think you need to use Nstreme 2 to make a full duplex radio link first . Last time i looked at tdms ( over non-mikrotik links) they weren’t too happy.

Bushy,
would like to know if Nstrem single is full-duplex or not???

Standard nstream is half-duplex. The main point of nstream2 compared to nstream is to make it possible to build full-duplex links…

hi,

the TDM worked thanks
Want to know something I am getting a latency of 47-73ms is this ok???

Mksb ,
Did you use Nstreme 2 to make the Tdms work better ?

hi,
TDMs are working finally without any breakage in Ethernet signal but latency is high , in cross over cable the latency was about 46ms constant, in case of wireless it varies between 47-73ms just wanted to know if this is ok???

If you’re seeing 46ms latency on a wired ethernet link (crossover cable) then either the CPU of your routers is maxed out or you are having serious problems on that ethernet link (bad cable, failed auto-negotiation, duplex mismatch etc.)

Latency should be much lower under normal conditions.

my TDMs have finally got in sync with radios (NSTREME - DUAL) but there is no transmission of voice at the remote end can someone tell me what the problem is???

hi everyone I am new here and I find a problem in TDM over IP in my mikrotik netmetal please help me
with configuration detail
