TDMA NV2 Synced by gps similar NTP

In cambium networks i can see ePMP and they have a TDMASynced by gps.
It is possible to sync the aps as well as synchronize the time with NTP?

Isn’t there problem with precision level?

Yes. NTP is in no way sufficient to do a timing needed for syncing wireless systems.

Syncing off of NTP is just not reliable.
A good GPS timing solution can cost several throusand of dollars (and you may need something for both ends).
The method Mikrotik uses for NV2 is just about as good as you can get without a GPS sync clock.

with NV2 all access point not Talk at the same time :frowning:

Gps sync is there to reduce self interference and to allow reuse of the same frequency. This can’t be done with nv2. If you have enough free spectrum you don’t need gps sync.

Mkt guys just a question when we can expect gps sync on mikrotik like the other main vendors?

Cambium has a strong gps sync solution, medusa has released its own some months ago and ubiquiti are beta testing sync on AC gear NOW…
