telnet blacklist function?

Hello Community,

I am fairly new to Mikrotik and been “thrown into cold water” with this brand.

Currently I am experiencing a problem best described with the screenshot I added.

My problem is I am searching for the connection type “telnet” to add to some kind of blacklist but no luck so far.

Is there a standard way in RouterOS to do this or generally a best solution?

I believe people had the problem before me and surely came up with a solution so no need to invent the wheel a second time.

If you have dns services running https://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/DoS_attack_protection
finally if you still need telnet you can adjust this config changing the port number https://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Bruteforce_login_prevention
