Howdy , complete newby here , I am after guidance after reading many guides and the user manual and youtubing , but I still cant pass traffic in a metal 2.4.
I have an Metal.
Ethernet port works and it is set to default. I can log into the router via winbox.
Wifi port is active with an ip address , I have a connection to a wifi wap nearby.
The Ethernet port and wifi port is showing tx packets
The gateway is assigned and can ping my gateway 192.168.3.251
So , I want to basically use a laptop on the Ethernet port and wifi to my wap , which is Ubiquity , and that is connected to another router to connect to the internet.
I cant ping the default gateway on my ubiquity network from my Ethernet port , but the Metal can.
I cant ping the Metal via the ubuity network via the wifi.
IPScan can scan the Uquity network.
Ipscan can scan the Ethernet network
I don’t know how to troubleshoot the firewall , or if my basic settings/mode is wrong [station mode].
Any help appreciated. This looked easy on youtube, not so easy for me.
I have attached the export of the config.
Newby mistake for sure in there somewhere.
