Hi,

I am new user of mikrotik. :slight_smile:

My problem is that I have two mikrotik router and I create EoIP tunnel. how to check whether the tunnel are working?
Mikrotik have public ip address which geting from ISP who did port forwarding on their router to my mikrotik so I can access mikrotik over public IP address. Do I have to create a PPP for this case?

Hi,

You can assign a /30 network on the the Lan sides of each router. For example router one will have 10.0.0.1/30, router two 10.0.0.2/30. Assign the IP address to the LAN interfaces (the bridge that contains the EOIP tunnel). Then simply ping the other router on the 10.0.0.x if it pings, it works.
