"testing" and "stable" and so on ?

hello,

what is this now ? i believe since i have not been on the MT site for a while i have missed out on a lot. how is it possible that we are recommended to use a non “stable” version in production environment to resolve long overdue problems like PCQ problems ? in german language we have an expression: “Das schlaegt dem fass den boden aus”. if one of the MT people could explain ??? all i ever get told is to use the latest version to solve problems and suddenly we have stable and unstable versions mixed in the same line of version numbers ? PLEASE can you do something with your version numbering to prevent confusion ?

frustrated with MT since a while now…

PS: if this business we run would be a hobby okay, but we try to make a living of it as well. please MT, you have a “pay for” piece of software, not free of charge or open source in the real sense of it.

all versions except BETA are stable, at least on RouterBOARDS (there are known issues with multi-core PCs). v3.13 is an older stable version, v3.16 is a newer stable version. it’s just to provide choice for some users who prefer to use a certain version. the names are wrong, we will improve
