I was having trouble restoring a config from an old radio to a new one and figured out it was because they were different boards with different hardware. I am sure this will always be the case if a board dies in the future and I have to replace it. Is there a way to grab a text file of the config in this situation, so I can configure the new radio with the information?
Take care of the leading slash - otherwise you would only export the part of the config tree you currently are in. So if you are in “/interface wireless”, an export command without the leading “/” would only export the wireless interface settings (including all submenus).
