At this time, what is the best hardware and configuration to obtain a ptp link (up+down) of 80 mbps. I had made links with RB433ah+r52ah dual polarization with 30dbi antenna and only had obtained aprox 25mbps agregate.
the most I got, on a similar setup, but at 70km PtP link, is cca 60mbit real throughput unidirectional… you must have excellent signal, and find a non congested channel, with CCQ over 90, preferably… although, I was using rb411ah, 600mW ubnt minipci, and 32dB dualpol parabolic antenae…
r52h is a single pol minipci . use r52hn for dual pol antenna and u have 2 chains.
height needed should be more than 200 ft from ground level.

use r5shpn mini pci. it is a 800mw card. should give u ample power.
That card is single chain though, he won’t be able to get the throughput he needs with that.
At what do you suggest to get this througput?
Actually the R52HN is going to give you about as good as chance as any to reach that kind of throughput. If you could use some dishes with higher gain that would help.
Also, you didn’t give details on your configuration. Are you using 40mhz channels? Are you using nstreme or nv2? You are going to have to use one of these protocols to get anywhere near that kind of throughput. Like ricky said, you are going to have to make sure you are on a clean channel and make sure you have your antennas aligned perfectly.
With that said, 80Mbps duplex is going to be a tall order at that distance. You might want to look into some licensed gear if you absolutely need that kind of throughput.
