We have a router CCR1036-8G-2S + software version 6.42.2. This router is connected to the ISP using the BGP protocol. The connection is made via optic link with SFP + module S+31DLC10D.
On this connection, the router can not exceed the outbound traffic limit by about 4 - 4.1 Gbps. This can be seen from the port load , from to the graphs, from ISP statistics.
At the moment of peak load, I add approximately 1Gbps traffic using Bandwidth Test. But outgoing traffic still can not overcome the 4 Gbps boundary.
In Tools/Profile we can see that the CPUs are not overloaded.
What could be the reason?
Many tasks are single threaded, so on a CCR, if any one core maxes out then you can have problems. Don’t use bandwidth test from the same router to test the maximum rate, instead test from host connected to router 1 to host connected to router 2.
You want to say that the CCR routing has a limit of 4 Gbps? We do not need to add any traffic for testing. We already have a problems with upload. I mentioned the test only to show that 4 + 1 = 4.
