Hi all,
i have one special task, which i want to discuss with you.
At work, we are preparing new solution of connection remote industrial sites to central datacenter.
These “special” sites, have no regular internet connection, so only LTE is the option (i think). And we really rely on somehow redundant solution. All technology is in metal boxes/building, so we need to use external antenas.
From HW perspective, my idea is to use something like hEX as a central router, with 3-4x LtAP mini with LTE (with SIM cards) in “bridge mode”.
In DC we can use 1100AHx4 or similar device.
Regarding to LtAP, it has 2sim card slots, but probably only one can be active at the time. Or? I am not sure…
Can i connect external GSM/LTE antena to LtAP?
That “bridge mode” will be nice, if we use sim cards from one provider with our APN, can we setup bonding for these links (between hEX and 1100AHx4, via LtAP)?
Or do you have a better idea for this kind of setup?
Thank you in advance.
