HI all, at first let me introduce myself.
my name is Malte, i am 29 Years old and i am from Germany (so excuse my english 
)
i am working for a WISP which only uses motorola Canopy Devices.
We have a 3.25 ´Tik server with dude on it.
When i try to discover all of my ~90 canopy devices it only shows me 16 devices and all of them without any labeling.
when i set “snmp” in the settings to "no snmp he finds all…
anyone can help me?

make sure your devices support SNMP and have this enabled. Dude can only show you data if the device provides this data over the SNMP protocol
make sure there is no firewall that blocks ping or snmp, as dude can only discover devices that can be pinged
also try to add one of the missing devices by hand, by entering it’s IP address. then use SNMP walk to find out if it provides information over SNMP

i checked a canopy device, and i cant finnd anything on it, what says “enable snmp” or “make snmp public” e.g.
i think snmp is enabled on standard.
i added a device which could not be found automatically, tried to ping = Positive, it gaves me the correct snmp name, but snmp walk does not work on that device…
hhhmmm… any ideas?
