We plan to make a new Dude release at end of Q3, we plan to fix the known issues and introduce some new features. The Dude is alive.
No answer to your question? How to write posts
Can anyone from MikroTik tell us if the 2Gb database limit has been corrected/fixed? I really don’t want to go back to v3.6 if I don’t have too…
Just started using 4b3. Can you confirm that the next release will fix the problem where the maximum link speed is 4294967295 (its called snmp speed in the dialog box)?
Can we have 10 gigabith ethernet added as a default link type in the next version as well?
We have quite a few 20 Gigabit links (2*10Gb paired) that we will not be able to accurately monitor.
I agree with a post in one of the other threads, if there were plans to abandon The Dude it would be awesome to have it released to open source so developers can help build on to an already amazing software.
Mikrotik, please let us know if there is ANYTHING we can do to help in the process of moving The Dude along, i know myself as well as a few others who don’t even use the forum would be more than happy to help out wherever needed.
