The Dude scan kills network connectivity

Hi everyone,
RB750Gr3 on 6.43.2 here.
If i enable The Dude service and connect to it, The Dude client suddenly drops connection about 2 minutes in. Then the client tries to re-connect and fails.
My network continues working for another 2-3 minutes, then everything stops responding.
Even if i wait 15, 20 minutes it stays down. If I pull the power plug and put it back in, i don’t hear the power-on beep.
The only way I could get the router to work again is doing a hard reset…
I had set up dude-data on my disk1 microSD.
This happened twice in a row, am I doing something wrong?
I followed this guide exactly: https://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:The_Dude_v6/The_Dude_server_on_hEX_RB750Gr3

Thanks in advance!

I was running the dude on 750Gr3 in role as main router for almost two years and this never happened. From other reasons I moved the dude to chr.

I believe you, but why could this be happening? I’m unable to view logs since the router effectively locks me out after a short while of being connected to The Dude.

My 750gr3 is working great except i would like to be able to use the dude :frowning:

I have no other idea than recheck the disk, it’s format, router settings.. Maybe the netinstall can help as it clears everything out.

Mikrotik is notoriously famous for under performing MicroSD (compatibility?), and Dude uses a lot of I/O (in comparison to logging). Switch to USB and compare.
