OK, so I’ve installed the dude package onto my router, and I have configured the “/tools e-mail” to use SMTP authentication with to gmail, which I have successfully tested by sending an email which was received.
I then open the dude on my workstation and connect it to my router IP address fine, I can then configure notifications, hoever when an alert is generated I see “error sending email…invalid FROM address” in the router logs. So it logs the event, but cannot send the email. I’ve tried the routers IP and the gmail ip for “server” IP in the dude settings.
Does the dude not support send mail via the email tool within the router “the dude” package?
