Sorry for the Nubie question:
If its not already out there somewhere, can we get a desktop widget/gadget that would display a simple connnect not connect to main devices?
similiar to attached but using the dude instead of flooding the network with ping reuests. We have several techs that just want the status on the desktop that can be looked at with a glance.

Give them Dude clients so that only the one Dude server is querying the devices, then they all connect to the Dude server to get the status of the devices. Or, maybe regularly export the map of what you want to display to a webserver that the techs have access to. Or, use the Dude web interface so they can get the info they need.
Not sure if this is the sort of thing you could use. None of these options is exactly what you have asked for I’m afraid.
