Hi team.
I have a virtual machine (VMware Server 2) in a physical machine with Intel P4 Processor 2.8 GHz, 2 Cores.
The VM has assigned 1 Gb RAM.
I installed Mikrotik RouterOS, version 4.11 and then installed The Dude package version 3.6. I monitor approximately 300 Devices (just PING probes). I’ve been working with this configuration for a long time without any problem.
Today I had to restart the physical machine and when the VM and The dude server started again, dude is using 100% CPU of the machine for a few seconds and then goes normal. This happens frequently and it causes packet loss and false failures with my devices.
Is there anything that I can do to check what is causing this behavior? The Label Refresh Interval is 15 seconds. But the CPU usage at 100% doesn’t occur within this interval.
