The Hikvision DS-2CD2543G2-IWS camera is connected to the CRS328-24P-4S+ to port 15 of mine. The camera is powered, but it does not ping. At the same time, the camera works fine in the neighboring Zyxel switch. What could be wrong?
I tried various combinations of force-PoE-On and Poe-voltage=high parameters and nothing helps, the picture is the same, the camera is powered, but the pings do not reach it.
What is the reply from Hikvision?
Hikvision produce the device, not MikroTik.
Sure you are using the correct IP address? Does the camera have a fixed IP (as well)?
How is your CRS configured?
Your problem is highly likely to be addressing. If it powers up then PoE variations are unlikely to have anything to do with it.
When you say you cannot ping it, where did you find the IP to use? What does “port 15 of mine” mean? What is your network? DHCP server? You have given very little information.
