the Idea to work as Repeater

Experts, I am quite confuse and new on this field.

I need advise step by step if it is possible, as per below Diagram I need to reach Internet in SXT-4, the problem is in middle I have small Hill, and thinking of to make it possible.

I have tried this way…

SXT-1 Bridge SXT-2 station Bridge and then connected to a normal 8 Port Switch then I configured SXT-3 as Bridge and connected on same 8 Port Switch and SXT-4 as Station Bridge

IPs assigned on this way all SXT function as bridge mode.

SXT-1 IP 192.168.50.5 ( interface Bridge), SXT-2 192.168.50.7 ( Interface Bridge) connected in switch SXT-3 IP 192.168.50.9 ( Interface bridge ) connected in Switch and finally SXT-4 IP 192.168.50.11 ( Interface Bridge ) connected in my PC, I can ping to .5, .7 and .9, but when connect the SXT-1 to Internet and trying to get Internet in SXT-4 it is not working.

I think I am doing wrong.

Seems that default route is missing. Can you see ccr from sxt4? Maybe just dns server is not known…

I checked that Sir, when I connect my PC from SXT-2 I can get internet, but when I connect from SXT-4 cannot.

However I can ping all IPs from SXT-4, even I did bandwidth test locally from SXT-4 to SXT-1, but this is strange how not working the Internet.

Again. Do you see ccr from sxt4 ? How looks routes in sxt4?

Log in sxt4 and try to ping URL Google.com and then ping ip 8.8.8.8. Then do the same from connected computer.

Cannot Ping, in the CCR Port, where the SXT-1 is connected, Public IP is configured …

if I connect from CCR Same Port to my PC and assign IP address in My PC, internet is working
if I connect from SXT two and assign the same IP, I can get internet and working
but when I connect from SXT-4 not working…

There is no configuration in SXT for the Public IP, however all SXTs are in Bridge mode and local IPs are assigned as said before.

Post the export from your config here
So we can see whats wrong.

Go to “new terminal”

type “export”
Copy and paste the result on this forum
Remove sensitive data and replace it with xxx
Sensitieve data = Password, keywords ets

Ops!

Working now, Actually I have set all SXTs in quick-set option PTP Bridge, but the SXT-4 Was CPE, when I changed it to PTP Bridge, Internet is working.

By the way, Is the concept is correct between SXT-2 and 3 connected in between a normal Dlink Switch.

Glad it works. The switch is not necessary you can connect the sxts directly.

I will try for this too, but if it works it save more my power.
