Hi, just like the uptime challenge, i suggest in that topic a real world production enviroument Mikrotik router troughput / pps challenge.
Here is mine.
110Mbits dowstream / 20.699 pps
54.4Mbps upstream / 19.054 pps
System specs Hp ML110 G4 2.8ghz dual core 512mb
Mikrotik Version 3.7 with multi cpu - on
Whats running: 130mbits feed from upstream provider, acting as a transparent bridge traffic shapper / firewall.
few simple queues and until now , no firewall rules, no routing.

At about 20 seconds in you can see 600,000+ pps. SuperMicro with P4 3.6ghz and quad intel server nics.

interesting!! real traffic or bw test? becouse in test enviroument i got better results than in real world traffic , i think becouse a lot of destinations and sources and ip firewall enabled. conttrack where disabled but when enabled it could count over 100.000 connections.
that was bandwidth test between 2 of the exact same machine configs. No conn-track enabled. Very nice to see it can handle 64 byte packets and still handle 600,000+ pps. Also amazed that bwtest could actually generate that kind of traffic.
