the proxy vs the Simple Queues

hi there
today’s problem is :slight_smile: :-

first my network like that :

adsl —> modem ----> mikrotik ----> switch ----> clients pc’s

  • ether1 ( local ) 10.0.0.1/24.
  • ether2 (public) 192.168.1.1/24.
  • 2 nat firewall one for normal connection and the two for proxy .

my system work but not like i want . why.

befor proxy i try Simple Queues that’s mean i have one nat rule "for normal connection between local and public ". the Simple Queues work good …for example :

10.0.0.15 is client from my network and have Simple Queues 10k/100k and my speed 256k/64k and he begin download with internet download manager . the rest of clients didn’t feel any slow in connection and if i make ping to yahoo.com i see stable ping with no requests and no high time

and if i test the 10.0.0.15 speed by UDmeter to see if he take his Simple Queues i see he take it full .

good for me and nice life with Simple Queues befor i try proxy .

now i ll try what happen after i make proxy :

first i begin new installation and i have connection to the internet and i don’t have any Simple Queues . i finish the proxy … it’s work .. test it … it’s work … … proxy is good and make the MT faster .

but now there no Simple Queues the clients ll be free to kill each other by downloading … for that and case i have big heart :slight_smile: .
i ll make Simple Queues for them .

i finsh the Simple Queues and now i have proxy and the Simple Queues .

when i begin to test the whole MT system look what i find :-

  • the MT work good if no one from my clients make download .
  • the proxy work good in any time .. download or not .
  • if any client bigan download the problem bigan … how …
