Thoughput on 2x wlan bonded link

I have set-up a bonded wireless link with eoip . The bonded link works just my throughput is worst than the standard ptp link .

Standard PTP link = 10mbs half duplex on each link
Bonded link = 7mb half duplex and pings stay at 2ms

Have tried all the different modes , no difference

My setup is

1x x86
2x 411 Bridged RB
1x RB333
1x RB600

All routed .. no natting and eoip have been routed correctly.
Pings on bonded interface are 2ms
Nstreme is on

Any ideas why the throughput is so bad ?

maybe because you are limited by the rb333 and rb411’s CPUs. Why not do the bonding on the rb600?

ok … done that now and still throughput is not much better, get around 10mb now on the bonded link

Do you think it is just the RB resources running out and the bandwidth test is not giving a true reflection on throughput ?

Remove bonding and try to run bandwidth test on both links at the same time. See how much bw you get then.

Stated above … can get 10mb out of each link . So i should get close to 20mb when bonded

Try to do the BWtests at the same time, there might be some interference problems

Try using OSPF setup before bonding setup, maybe helps! If you still have some problems with the bandwidth you might want to look if somethings wrong with the radio cards.

Hope some of these links helps
