I have a CCR1016-12G with version 6.49.8 and wanting to upgrade to version 7.2? The issue I’m wondering is that I want to transfer the script to a CCR2116-12g-4s+ that uses the ARM v7.2 but the CCR1016-12G uses the TILE v6.49.8. Is that possible? If I upgrade the CCR1016 to v7.2 ARM or do I up it to the TILE v7.2 and then copy the script from it to the CCR2116 using ARM 7.2? I don’t think it will work based on the different architecture.
What does the script do?
You can likely just copy the script over from the 1016 to the ARM router. You’ll have to adjust the script for 7.2 and for the new architecture, regardless of whether you upgrade the one or not.
The script is from our main router that’s on a RB1100AHx4 its running ARM v6.49.8 and needing to update to a newer router and I’m trying to make little adjustments to the script due to syntax from v7.2 on the CCR2116, I copied the script from the RB1100AHx4 to the CCR1016 and was going to up it to v7.2 ARM but I see that it’s TILE. I want to copy the script from CCR1016 to the CCR2116 if all works out on any differences.
