hi.
i am using mikrotik 3.3 on a 532A rb with 399 mhz cpu and 49 megs of free mem as a standard point to point link. i connect to tthe unit via eth1 and the unit supplies backhaul to a remote ap via wlan1.
my problem is that suddenly without having added any more clients, when i ping it from an internal ip which connects to eth1, i get about 10 - 14% time outs. clients are complaining about slow/intermittend internet connectivity.
i have tested cables, switches etc and found no problems on any.
when i disable wlan1 i get 0% timeouts. i got ccq of 95/95 and signal strenth -69 with signal/noise of 27.
tx/rx rate is 48/54 mbps and my througput is less than rx 100 kbps and tx 1 mbps.
cpu usage was max 13% according to graphs.
however, when i monitord it, every time i get more than 1 timeout after another, my winbox disconnects as well. when i get access to it after the timeouts (about 5-10) have stopped, i notice that the cpu is runnning at 90%+ for a few secs.
how can i find out what causes this and how do i stop it?
there is nothing in my logs as well to give any ideas.
please, any ideas any one?
thanks
