Hi I have a PtP link both running Router Version 2.9.38. At the client end of the link there is one computer connected and when this computer logs off at the end of the day the wireless link drops for 60 seconds then comes back to life. In the logs it says TKIP Countermeasures active. It mentions in these forums that this is some kind of prevention against dos attacks but I do not in this situation think it is the case. I have WPA PSK configured with TKIP ticked in both the unicast cyphers and group cyphers boxes. Any suggestions on how I can get around this.
Update the routeros version..
I rectified the problem by changing encryption to WPA2 PSK. Thanks for your response I will look at upgrading the link in the near future.
