To our MT technical and programer team don’t take my words otherwise. I’m not atall comfortable with your new Router OS ver.3.rc but that version has a good feature which is, it can take 2 GB of RAM support and more HDD space and it is very important for the web-proxy cache. Now can you people (MT tech and programmer team) make your router OS ver 2.9.46 or upcoming 2.9.47 (I don’t know if that ver will come or not) version to support upto 2 GB RAM and more HDD space like your unstable OS ver.3rc? If you people can make that happen then it’ll be the best work of yours.
Oh yeah, the reason it’s unstable is because they added 2Gb ram support and more HDD access. Having to upgrade the kernel to support your request caused other issues.
If you have a problem with 3.0, please email them to support@mikrotik.com so they can fix it. If you use a release candidate don’t expect it to get any better without you reporting your problems. Otherwise wait for the full release.
Thanks a lot to reply me so soon, I told you never mind what I was asked for, actually I just want to use the latest ver of the MT OS and I know you people will fix all the bugs. And by the way Ver.3.rc is not the final version of 3? what will you called the full version of MT OS Ver.3, I’m sorry I thought it is now the final version. can you tell us when the final version will be released?
This means that it is considered for release.
From MT testing it has been determined to be close for release.
Now it’s our turn to identify issues, as it always has been to some extent.
Once all lettered appendages are removed from the version numbering it will be at full release status.
in Winbox , it sometimes doesnt save the settings , like in simple Q window , when i enable tx / rx columne , it will never show next time i enter this window , and in firewall filter it always show ( all ) while i always go to ( static ) !!!
