Too stupid for VLANs!

Hi there!

I’m replacing my unmanaged D-Link 24 port switch and MT 2.8 with a Linksys srw224g4 managed switch and MT 2.9
So far, so good, but my target is or was to configure every port on the switch as a seperate VLAN (101 - port 1, 102 - port 2, …) and attach it via the gbit uplink to a intel gbit nic in the MT.
My config was all ports Access Ports with the matching VID and the gbit Port as a Trunk port (tagged). I added the VLANs to the interface of the MT Router and wanted to test it… absolutely nothing worked! No ping, nothing.

Is there anything else I have to do?

Thanks and have a nice day,
uebi

i’m not familiar with this linksys switch but does it perform 802.1q type tagging?
do you by any chance bridge the parent (gbit) interface?

Hmm, started from the beginning, updated the firmware of the switch and used my brain a bit more - now it works!

I should have been starting over before wasting 3 hours… G

Thanks,
