I have just ordered 10 of them to try it out. We have some problems whit standard rj45 pluggs where we some times have to mount a new one.

I guess it depends on how many cables you make. With the cost difference between tool-less and regular crimp connectors, after ~50 connectors you would have saved enough to buy a really nice heavy-duty RJ45 crimp tool. For a typical consumer it might make sense, but if you’re in the business, a good crimp tool is the winner hands down.

I already have a proffesional crimp tool.

we are using solid copper cable, is their any rj45 plugg that works for a long time?

Frankly, I have yet to find a connector that doesn’t last. IME cables usually go bad due to mis-handling (closed in door, twisted too many times, etc.).

I suggest you find some new suppliers…

I have now ordered some rj45 pluggs that are made for solid copper. Any one that had tried these?

I just sounds like a “less than ideal” idea to me. I don’t see the benefit of this vs. a normal connector. Actually looks like more work.
