Tools > Profile on 5.0 & 5.1

Hi …

Under V5.0 & V5.1 a pair of X86 WRAP boards shows some peaks each 30 seconds or so, hitting 100% CPU and management at this peaks draw the remaining CPU, making idle = 0 for 5 seconds or so.

Does anybody knows which processes contribute to “management” on profile tool? SNMP have its own graph and average figures when CPU hits 100% are:

Idle = 0%
Management ~ 55%
SNMP ~ 14%

Both management & snmp cpu loads peaks at the same time.

We have updated manual with description of classifiers that are not self explanatory

Thanks sir.

I took a look at the docs.

So seems that some snmp process is sinking too much cpu on such small X86 device. Next days I’ll stop pooling one of them with Dude to see if those cyclic 100% cpu spikes vanish.

At a glance if I drop Dude interface label (masterig snmp or ros) this spikes falls to 50% CPU. But this is a premature conclusion.

The same figures does not occur at 411AR nor 433UAH.
