Total booting failure

Hi. I can´t access my routerboard512. Not from ethernet port or serial connection. It happens after upgrading from routerOS 2.9.23 to 2.9.24.
I did it using winbox utility. The file saved properly, but after I “system reboot” the device it didn´t came alive. There was no power problem or similar at all. I don´t know what to do. Can someone help me???

I have to add that nothing happens when i try to connect through serial cable. There is no message coming from routerboard. I don´t thing is a baudrate problem because i use the same connection to access the other board that works ok. Well that´s all. Please if someone can help me i would be gratefull.

ryotech,
default baud-rate=115200 (try 9600 etc.),
Have you tried to access RouterBOARD using MAC-Winbox ?
Using MAC-address instead IP address to connect to the routerboard (RouterBOARD connected to the same switch with workstation).

Winbox doesn´t detect anything. I tried introducing MAC manually but it says: “Could not connect…Time out”.

Does your board powered UP (whcih LEDs are on after switching on the RouterBOARD) ?

From the six status leds, the only one that remains on is the blue one in the downer left corner, just like in normal operation.
The orange led of the ethernet POE port REMAINS ON wich is different from normal operation.
Well, there are more news. It happens to be that my hiperterminal session does not show any dialogue at first. But when you remain the session open and you unplugged an turn on the router VOILá!!! , it shows me the following message:

"RouterBOOT booter 1.12

RouterBoard 532A

CPU frequency: 264 MHz
Memory size: 64 MB

Press any key within 1 seconds to enter setup.
loading kernel from nand… OK
setting up elf image… OK
jumping to kernel code
Kernel panic: No init found. Try passing init= option to kernel."

I wouldn´t realised that if I didn´t short JP2 wich is used to force serial interface on. JP2 doesn´t come integrated so I used a 1k resistance (just to make sure nothing wrong happens). After that the above message appeared in Hyperterminal window. Then I realised i could have done the same turning on the device but remaining Hypèrterminal session open… Stupid of me but interesting in knowing that JP2 does work!!!

Well, after this now I Know I don´t have a kernel…
So I´m going to try netinstall despite the fact I suspect the eth port will not work. If you have any idea please quote this comment. THANKS
