Total Noob - cant login, cant reset

Hi,
So real basic ( it would seem ) but having problems logging into MikroTik NetMetal 5 RB922UAGS-5HPacT-NM RouterOS.
I see the MikroTik SSID, no password needed, computer connects wirelessly no problem. When connected to a router, I am getting net access etc. Using a browser the 192.168.88.1 address as per quick guide gets me no where. I have tried the reset button ( held for more than 5 seconds ) at the rear, expecting it to power cycle but I don’t see that happen.
I have 4 ‘new’ Mikrotik’s and I have not been able to log into any of them.
Thoughts? I know it’s 99% user error, just cant see past it.

So you are able to see the wifi network with the name MikroTik, can connect to it, can obtain an IP address, but opening 192.168.88.1 in your browser results in … what exactly? is there a 404 error, blank page, something else?

SOLVED.
Logged in with winbox to via MAC address, and was able to see the IP was not the default. Updated the firmware, and was able to log in.
