We have some major opportunities for selling MT-based wireless routers here in the UK and throughout Europe.
However, at 5GHz we need TPC (transmit power control) for compliance, otherwise we can’t certify or sell the product.
Please can the MT people explain timeline for support for this feature.
Right now, we are getting excellent feedback from demos, and there will certainly be volume orders, but cannot proceed to commercial offering without TPC.
Can I suggest other users in Europe please add to this thread if you also intend to or use 5GHz in the EU?
Some idea of numbers/opportunities for MT would help them I’m sure.

Is 2.9 beta stable enough for wireless bridge applications to start showing customers?
What is the likely time-line to a non-beta (production)( release - weeks or months?

I can’t say when the beta will be full release. We think the coming version has a good chance of being pretty stable – we will have to wait for feedback.
