Is there a feature or maybe a 3rd party tool to log and visualize all the traffic that goes through mikrotik router?
A feature like Cisco ASA’s Real time log viewer or live logging in Microsoft TMG. It’s useful to see why certain traffic was blocked, because of what rule and so on.
It’s possible to do that with IPv4. You can mark the desired firewall rules to log and then in System>Logging create a rule to send firewall logs to remote and at the Action tab, set your syslog server info.
The dude has a built-in syslog server, if I’m not mistaken. Also, be careful because it generates lots of traffic, depending on the activity on the rule.
also log-based monitoring/management approach can sonsume notabe amount CPU, thus(after you enable, oversimplilying to forward"anything" in remote rsyslog server).
