[Traffic Shaping] Is there a way to limit pps?

Is there a way to limit pps (packets per second) on wireless client connected to MT AP?

Limiting only bandwidth or number of connections for p2p traffic doesn’t solve the problem of locking up AP. In egz. host limited for 128kbps can generate theoreticaly over 1000 udp packets of size 60-100B per second(emule or btt search engine generates about 50 pps when fired up). I’ve noticed that phisical limit for Atheros 5213 working in 802.11b is about 200/200 pps. 5-6 clients using this nasty p2pthing and AP is locked for others, peacefull www surfers.

actually we are suing in our backbone atheros 5211, with 150 users, probably around 30 with emule and around 1.100/1.300 pps.

works fine, even with rb230

wich problem do you see?

in 802.11b? :> nice

no, in 5GHz.

afaik there isnta way to limit pps

how many users with emule do you have ?
