Traffic Shaping / Profile for Users, from external DB

Hello,

I need to set and change individual users (IP based) shapings and profiles on routerOS, from info that resides on a DB, on a host where I system do all administration about users, plans, account, etc.

Is there any way to set this user profile from this host to the routerOS on the other host ?.

Does some one have similar scenery ?.

Any help will be apreciated !.

Jorge, probably your device may act as RADIUS server, RouterOS has built-in RADIUS client. HotSpot server provided in RouterOS may authenticate and account users consulting remote RADIUS database and get settings like ‘username,password,’ ‘rate-limit’ etc.

May I use this atributte also when IP users is assigned via dhcp ?.
