We upgraded our Cisco 7200 to a new CCR recently, running (2) WAN interfaces running BGP to Fiber to Copper uplink from 2 providers, 1 is 300Mb and another is 700Mb.
Recently we discovered we cannot hit much more than 600 on the 700Mb circuit because they (ISP) says we are “bursting” above 700 and that in return they are dropping/discarding the traffic.
My point, they say we need to traffic shape that interface to limit at 700Mb. With the new CCR, or updated F/W, I don’t see ANYWHERE I can limit the interface to 700/700, like there used to be on other smaller routerboards we’ve used.
Any help here? I’d rather not setup a Simple Queue or anything for it, if possible.
