Transforming your pc (Using a TPLINK wireless card)

Hello Folks,

I am QUITE new routerOS user. Actually, It’s my second day using it. (And I’m really impressed with its power)

Guys, my doubt is simple (I guess).

I’ve got a computer, with routerOS 5.4 installed in it. This computer has one ethernet card and one wireless card (TPLINK).

The ethernet receives internet signal (PPPoe “ADSL”). I would like the wireless card to be a “Hotspot” and spread the internet to other devices.

It means, transform my PC in a HotSpot.

I thank you in advance. In the mean time I will be looking, even more, for good tutorials.

as you have a router and its wireless card ..so what is the proplem
go on and set your router configurations to acts as access point and make it as a hotspot station

you can… if your wireless card can acts as access point mode

be sure of this mode in your wireless card

So happy that my wireless card is working as AP.

Now I am engaged in another task: Internet Sharing.
