Hi there,
I got two sites both using Mikrotik Routers connected to ADSL lines.
I would like to have a transparent link between then for UDP broadcasting etc…
PPTP Server with EOIP seems to work but is giving me instability issues.
I red about using MPLS/VPLS but cant seem to get it working over a PPTP connection.
Could someone hint me in the right direction please or setup?

What version of RouterOS are you using? What are your instability issues, what is it doing?

Thanks for the reply. I’m Using 6.1 at this moment.
When using EOIP it seems to make my client PPTP Mikrotik Router unresponsive and I’m unable to ping not connect to it
via MAC.
Unplugging the power is the only method bringing communication back up again that is very strange.
What routerboard are you using?
Im using a RB751G-2Hnd as the PPTP server with Routers OS 6.1 and a Routerboard RB750 also with 6.1.
I did try EOIP and seems to be giving the same issue where the router becomes responsiveness.
A PPTP server with a MRRU of 16384 should be sufficient for Multicast/UDP broadcast?
