Most gigabit ethernet bridge systems are limited to 1500 MTU (gigabit powerline, gigabit wireless).
The new 802.11ad point-to-point Mikrotik Wireless Wire product ( https://mikrotik.com/product/wireless_wire ) allows very high performance.
The Mikrotik MTU wiki ( https://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:Maximum_Transmission_Unit_on_RouterBoards ) says that you can set MTU to 9124 on ethernet card ether1 of the wAP60G device.
Does this mean that a UDP 8600 bytes packet can transparently pass through the wireless link or is it segmented to be transparently rebuilt on the other ethernet side?
