I want to use a 112 fitted with two CM9 cards to act as a transparent repeater from a non Mikrotik piece of kit, i suppose this could be classed as a range extender? I am also looking for the Ethernet port to be able feed the person hosting the repeater/extender. The extended Essid does not have to be the same in this case.
If it is not possible then i could replace the gateway piece if kit with a 112/133 (Level 4) and then try altering the “Transparent bridge” setup, but it would mean accessing another property and replacing the kit, which will be difficult, hence the option to try it with a non Mikrotik piece of kit.
Has anyone ever done this type of setup before? i would appreciate the help and advice.
