In the RouterOS manual they give an example to make a point-to-point Nstreme link. What they don’t explain is how to transparently bridge Ethernet traffic trough the radio, similar to the scenario described in this link, http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Transparently_Bridge_two_Networks. I’ve tried to create a bridge on both radios and put the Eth1 and wlan1 on the same bridge but I still can’t get traffic to flow trough the radios. I get the wireless link up but I can’t get the Ethernet to transparently flow trough my links.
I would really route it, there is virtualy no reason not too. I have yet to have a good argument other than someone don’t know how. Much better in many differant ways.
Make sure under the wire links on both you have on the WDS tab – Dynamic and bridge 1 selected. Also have one radio station wds for type and the other ap bridge.
