Transperent Proxy

Hi,
I have installed MT 2.9.27 as a MAin Distribution server. Now i want to install Proxy which should work as a transperent proxy.

I need a help for configure the same.

I have also refer the web proxy topic in reference, but confused in some points. Also need HTTP caching.

Thanks Its working fine, But Now if i will deny shome web pages like rapidshare and some user tring to open the website, It is showing that ACCESS DENIED.

I dont want that this type of MSG at customer END.

How to do that

if you’re an ISP that’s probably against the law

MAN,

Read the Q carefully, I mean to say, i dont want to show the STANDARD MSG, which is showing.

I WANT TO SHOW SOME OTHER MSG.

Is there any way to CHANGE the STANDARD MSG.

‘redirect-to’ option might be used for proxy access list, it option allows to redirect user to the specific web-page, when he/she is requesting the particular page.

Make your life easy. Put in a dedicated linux machine running Squid, and make/break/configure squid to do exactly what you want.

MT’s internal proxy is really limited, and cannot do what you want.
