Tranzeo CPE's associating/dis associating ROS 3.10

Does anyone have the issue where Tranzeo Cpe’s re-associate every 6-12 hours on different hardware (rb333/rb600) on 3.10 routeros. It only happens to the Tranzeo clients, I have RB411 clients on the same Ap and they don’t re-associate. I have Tranzeo/411 clients on a rb532 on 2.9.51 and they remain solid.

any suggestions on what to try !!

The issues is with Tranzeo’s software which they deny and won’t fix. It’s been discussed many many many times.

Bill,

I would think it bad business practice for one competitor to comment negatively on another.

I’ve seen the same problems in version 2.x also…

It cant be a Tranzeo issue. I had an AP with 15 Tranzeo CPE’s and 10 mikrotk units. It worked on 2.9.51 without any issues. I upgraded the same hardware to V3 and now I have issues with the Tranzeo CEP’s. They all dis/re-connect at the same time (a couple of times a day) while the Mikrotik units are unaffected.

Any comment from Mikrotik ?

You’ve answered your own question. Do a search for Tranzeo.

The hardware has remained the same and the clients have remained the only moving part that changed was the Router Os version !!

Do a search for Tranzeo

everyone has been having this problem for a long time now. Nothing to do with the ROS version.

I’ve seen this problem too with version 2.9 but not until a cable company trying to do wireless moved in with some Motorola Canopy trash. I can see it in every area where they have put their RF abusive equipment up. Canopy can eat up huge chunks of spectrum and you won’t see it on a scan from the AP. If you don’t have Canopy in your area look for other sources of interference.

Canopy 2.4 usually uses VPOL, you will have less problems if you switch to HPOL
