So, I tried to update to 6.33.5 and got missing wireless-6.33.5-mipsbe.npk .
So I restarted.. it worked fine, besides the wireless messed up. So I removed the wireless package, set it to uninstall .. Restarted the routerboard, and now I can’t connect even wired.
I tried giving it both versions , of course one at a time, but never did it say “reboot” . It always went back to “ready” . Then it didn’t work when I tried it again.
Well, I have tried Using 5.x now on the netinstall . It behaved better, it even let me restart the device properly… however, still nothing when I swapped the IPv4 back to Auto, and moved it to Port 2.
It says “Identifying…” In Windows 7 under the adapters, but never connects.
Hello.
What is the problem exactly? Do you have access to your router? Can you ping your device? Did you leave common services/ports enabled? Telnet?SSH?
I tried downgrading to 5.x with the routeros-mipsbe-5.26.npk , and Netinstall behaved better. It installed and let me reboot the device. unlike 6.x’s .
After restart, I moved to Port 2 , and set the IPv4 back to Automatic… and waited.. and waited… and still nothing.
I have the same problem now. I have connection with v. 6.33.2. Before it had v.6.33.3 and it was not good because after upgrading to it wireless speed in my local network decreased more than a half. So, I was hoping for upgrading to v.6.33.5 and solve this problem? but I can`t do it, receiving this message missing wireless-6.33.5-mipsbe.npk .
