Trouble with Intel E810 and CCR2216

We have two CCR2216-1G-12XS-2XQ and some Intel E810 NICs and cannot get these things to establish a link.

Tried several things so far.

Two different QSFP28 DACs
Two different QSFP28 100g optics
QSFP28 AOC

Compiled latest ICE driver for E810
Configured the E810 in 2x1x100, 4x25 breakout modes using epct64e configuration tool repowering host after breakout changes

Tried disabling FEC on the mikrotik side

Does anyone have experience with this kind of setup? Is the mikrotik side always a 4x25 interface?

I’ve the same issue today: NIC E810 vs CRS518-16XS-2XQ-RM.
No 25 Gb/s link, the link goes up only forcing it to 10Gb/s.

Same setup but vs NIC E710 work flawlessly.

Have you solved this issue?


EDIT:
Setting FEC to FEC91 in SFP option on CRS518 seems to solve the problem. Link is now up at 25 Gb/s
